Six. Not "small groups". Six students, at the same level, with the same teacher all year. When a group fills up we open another one — we do not add a chair.

Why we opened

The problem is almost never the teacher.

1,463 DH spent on average every month, per child, on private tutoring in Morocco
77 % of parents say they are only moderately satisfied with it
7.7 % say they are fully satisfied

Families are asked to pay every month — and never told where their child actually stands. The report card arrives in January, and by then it is too late to fix anything.

Add to that rooms packed with twenty, thirty, sometimes sixty students at once: even an excellent teacher cannot see a child in a room like that. And a child who is not seen does not progress.

Solyra Academy is built around one idea: you should know.

Figures: published surveys of the Moroccan private-tutoring market (Kezakoo, LesEco). The case of sixty students in a single session at 50 DH/h is documented in the same research.

Academic tutoring

Seven subjects, taught seriously.

We do not claim to cover "every subject". We cover seven, from collège to the Baccalauréat, with teachers who actually teach these syllabuses.

Mathematics

Algebra, geometry, functions, sequences, limits, probability. From collège to 2ⁿᵈ year Bac — SM, PC and SVT streams. We work on problem-solving method, not just the lesson.

Physics & Chemistry

Mechanics, electricity, waves, optics, reactions and titration. Preparation for continuous assessment and the Bac exams, using the standard problems that actually come up.

Biology & Earth Science

Sciences de la Vie et de la Terre: genetics, geology, immunology, ecology. Often the subject that decides the average in the SVT stream — and it is learned through diagrams, not memorising.

French

Grammar, conjugation, spelling, written expression and text analysis. Set works and preparation for the regional exam — the subject that does the most damage when it is left to slide.

English

Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension and expression. Catch-up for collège, exam preparation for lycée, and real speaking practice — not just rules.

German

Second modern language. Pronunciation, declensions, sentence structure. German frightens people; it is in fact the second language that can be caught up fastest, with a clear method and a small group.

Spanish

Second modern language. Solid foundations, conjugation, written and spoken expression. Built for the student who meets Spanish for the first time at lycée and has to catch up fast to avoid losing Bac marks.

The levels we take

Collège — years 1, 2 and 3 (middle school).
Lycée — Tronc commun, 1ˢᵗ and 2ⁿᵈ year Bac.
Streams — Maths, Physical Sciences, SVT, Humanities, Economics.
Exam preparation — regional and national.

Our spaces

Classes are not mixed.

A girls' space and a boys' space, fully separate. Same teachers, same syllabus, same prices, same available times. No group is mixed — neither at the centre nor online. Many families ask us about this before they ask the price, and a student who is comfortable in the room is a student who puts their hand up.

Girls' space

Confident girls, a big future.

A space where asking a question is not intimidating, where the work happens in a small group, and where you can get something wrong at the board without it becoming a story.

LearnSucceedShine
Boys' space

Ambitious boys, a better future.

A frame that holds: attendance recorded, homework done, a steady pace. Discipline is not a punishment — it is what makes real work possible in ninety minutes.

How it works

Four steps, and you always know where you stand.

You message us

One WhatsApp message to 06 21 27 27 93 is enough: your child's level, the subject or subjects, and the current mark. We reply the same day.

Free assessment

45 minutes at the centre, no commitment and nothing to pay. We place the student, identify the exact gaps, and tell you honestly whether we can help or not.

The right group

The student joins a group at their real level — 6 students maximum, the same teacher all year, in the girls' or the boys' space.

The monthly report

Every month you receive it in writing: attendance, internal assessment marks, what has improved, and what is still blocking.

Vocational training

Learn today. Build the skills.
Build tomorrow.

Solyra Academy is not only school tutoring. Eight vocational courses, open to lycée students, Bac holders and adults — on site in Benslimane or online, each ending in a certificate.

  • Better opportunities on the way out

Our commitments

What you can hold us to.

6 students maximum per group Not "small groups". Six. If a group is full we open another one or put you on a waiting list. We never add a chair.
A free assessment before any payment 45 minutes. If we think your child does not need us, we will tell you so.
A written report every month Sent to the parent, not only to the student. Attendance, marks, progress, what is still blocking. Nothing to discover in January.
The same teacher all year A student does not start again from zero each term because the teacher changed.
A missed session is made up Tell us the day before and the session is rescheduled into another group at the same level. You do not pay for nothing.
The prices are written on this page No "ask for a quote". The price is public, it is the same for everyone, and it does not change mid-year.
One thing we will not do: show you parent testimonials. The centre has only just opened — we have no former students yet, and we are not going to invent reviews with bought photographs. You will find the commitments above instead. Real testimonials will come when real families have finished a real year with us.

Prices

The price is on the page. It is simpler for everyone.

Monthly price, per subject, in a group of 6 students maximum — 2 hours a week, i.e. 8 hours a month. No registration fee, no admin fee.

Frequently asked

What parents ask us

Where exactly are you?

Bloc En Najma, near the Atiq Mosque, Marché district — Benslimane. Message us on WhatsApp at 06 21 27 27 93 and we will send the exact location along with the timetable of groups that still have places.

Are the classes mixed?

No. No group is mixed. There is a girls' space and a boys' space, fully separate — same teachers, same syllabus, same prices. That holds online as well as at the centre. We place the student in the matching space from the free assessment onwards.

My child is weak in three subjects. Is that too much?

Usually not — because they are rarely three different problems. A student struggling in maths and physics normally has one problem: problem-solving method. That is exactly what the free assessment is for. Sometimes we recommend starting with a single subject.

Who are the vocational courses open to?

Lycée students and Bac holders, university students, and adults changing career — most modules have no qualification requirement. Each course ends in a certificate. Message us for the programme, the length and the dates of the next intake.

Are lessons in French or in Arabic?

In the language of the student's official syllabus. Scientific subjects at lycée level are taught in French, as they are at school. The explanations, though, are given in whichever language the student understands best — including Moroccan Arabic when that is what unlocks it. The goal is that they understand, not that we sound clever.

What if my child does not progress?

You will know before we do, because the monthly report will say so in writing. At that point we change something: the group, the teacher, the pace, or the subject. What we will not do is take six months of fees and hope it sorts itself out. No fixed term: you pay monthly.

Do you prepare students for the Baccalauréat?

Yes. The 2ⁿᵈ year Bac groups work through past papers, with invigilated mock exams under real conditions. Intensive courses run during school holidays — the next window is 18 to 25 October.

How does payment work?

Monthly, at the start of the month, at the centre. No registration fee, no admin fee, no annual commitment. You stop whenever you want and tell us — that is all.

How long before we see a result?

Honestly: expect the first test after six to eight weeks of steady work. Be wary of anyone promising better. What we guarantee from the first month is not a mark — it is that you will know exactly what is blocking.

Free assessment

45 minutes, free, no commitment.

Leave us the level and the subject. We call you back the same day to set the assessment and tell you which places are left in that group.

Prefer WhatsApp?

It is faster, and that is where we answer quickest.
